Daily Kos manages copyright violations following the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) guidelines. Copyright holders may submit notices to the Designated Agent listed below if they believe Daily Kos hosts infringing content.

Required Information for DMCA Notices

• Location (URL) of infringing material
• Description of infringing material with sufficient detail for accurate identification
• Proof of ownership of that material
• Statement that the notifying party has good-faith belief the content lacks authorization, including Fair Use considerations
• Statement under penalty of perjury confirming notification accuracy and the party’s authorization to lodge the complaint
• Contact information (name, address, phone, email)
• Physical or electronic signature from someone authorized to represent the copyright holder

Upon confirmation, Daily Kos will remove the infringing material expeditiously and send confirmation notice via the email address provided.
